JOHN A. PANYKO

John A. Panyko (pronounced “Pank-co”) is the President and CEO of Venture Shop. He is the company’s licensed real estate broker in Florida and Alabama.

John has 39 years of counseling real estate, technology, hotel, retail, service, franchise and general corporate clients doing business nationally and internationally in complex transactions requiring a high degree of original and creative legal effort and business acumen. He is a practicing member of the Florida Bar and will hold the distinction of Board Certified Tax Attorney for the last 35 years in 2025.

He holds a Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M) from the University of Florida.  He is a graduate of the University of Toledo Law School and the School of Journalism at Ohio University.

John is a published author and frequently speaks on tax issues.  He is the former management committee chairman of a major law firm.   The world headquarters of his current solo member law firm is his home office.

He is a former member of the Pensacola City Council and served as Chairman of the Economic and Community Development Committee.  He was also a member of the Pensacola City Council Finance Committee and a member of the Pensacola-Escambia Development Committee.

John is currently a board member of and frequent volunteer for Pensacola Sports, his community’s official sports tourism agency.  He is also a past president and multiple honoree of the organization.

He is a past chairman of tourism for the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce and past chairman of Visit Pensacola, his community’s official tourism agency.
